Homework Policy |
Homework is assigned to reinforce what has been discussed in class, and the assignments will vary based on the topic we are discussing. At the beginning of each grading period, each student begins with a homework grade of 100. The student maintains the 100 as long as homework assignments are completed. Homework is not graded for accuracy, just completion. Five points will be deducted from the initial grade of 100 each time homework is not completed. For example, five incomplete assignments will result in a cumulative homework grade of 75. The homework grade counts as a quiz grade at the end of the grading period.
If you are absent, please check the While You Were Out sheet to see what was turned in while you were gone and what homework was assigned.
