Homework Policy: All assignments are to be completed for homework the night they are assigned. Homework will be checked randomly, so please come to class prepared. Homework will be assigned daily and will be posted in the classroom and on the website. Homework may include but is not limited to: reading assignments (textbook and supplemental), note taking, answering review questions, reading comprehension exercises, essay composition, and studying. Homework is to be completed individually unless otherwise indicated by the instructor. All reading assignments must be completed prior to class time. Pop quizzes will be given to check student’s preparation for class. AP students will be required to complete a significant number of writing assignments to prepare for the AP exam. History is not a subject which can be crammed in at the 11th hour. Please do not wait until the last minute to start studying for a quiz or exam or to begin an assignment. Never hesitate to ask for help when you need it. My door is always open.
