Algebra Review
Algebra Review is designed for ninth grade students
who experienced some difficulty in eighth grade Algebra I. It will be significantly different than
a traditional Algebra I class. The
class will be taught in a seminar style where a small group of students and
their teacher discuss Algebraic concepts and solve problems together in
class. Homework will not be given
on a daily basis. Grades will be
determined by class effort and participation, completion of class assignments
and periodic cumulative test.
Successful completion of this course should assure a student that they
have the mathematical foundation to be successful in Algebra II and
higher-level math including College Algebra. Algebra Review is normally taken concurrently with Geometry.
