                                     SUBCOMMITTEES
Annual Fundraising - (Lisa Chappell, Holli Williams) Develops and carries out annual fundraising event (alternating auction and Patriot Cup Challenge every other year) to raise funds to be used at the discretion of the Executive Committee that benefit the campus and curriculum.

Commercial Fundraising - (Pam Davis, Karyn Killinger) Oversees the "Food for Thought" gift card program offering gift cards to Food Lion, Lowes Foods, Piggly Wiggly and Fresh Market Stores; Boxtops for Education; Target and  Harris Teeter rebate program and other related projects.

Archive - (Becky Ruffolo) Preserves all APA news through various media outlets throughout the region.  A "news bureau" portal is maintained of all promotional activities for our school. 

Grade Mothers - (Alice Arthur) Works with teachers in grades T-5 in planning field trips, parties, and class projects; organizes parent volunteers to help with the same. 

Grandparents and Special Friends Day - (Anne Lindley, Kristi Blizzard) Coordinates fall visitation day for these special guests in grades T-5.  Works with faculty and grademother chair to coordinate activities; oversees Grandparent Valentine Program for T-12 in February. 

House and Hospitality - (Susan Grady, Dana Minges) Coordinates food and decorations for various events such as Opening Day Coffee, Open House receptions, and retirement and special events.

Library - (Virginia Means) Works with librarian to organize The Wishing Tree, Book Fair, and library volunteers. 

School Store - (Lissa Grice, Felicia Houston) Responsible for ordering, sales, and distribution of school logo items such as clothing and novelties; maintains and mans the school store located in main lobby. 

Special Events - (Beth Collier) Organizes activities during Staff and Teacher Appreciation Weeks and other events as needed.

Wrapping Paper Sales - (Stephanie Morris, Amy Hill) Responsible for annual Sally Foster wrapping paper campaign held at the beginning of school year.  Click on the LINK BELOW to place your order on-line. Remember to enter APA's code (0358804) so that the school receives credit for your order.
